Mitt Romney was Pro-Life, then he CHANGED.
Mitt Romney was Pro-Choice, then he CHANGED
Mitt Romney was in favor of gun control, including bans on assault rifles and handguns, then he CHANGED.
Mitt Romney favored secret timetables for withdrawal from Iraq, then he CHANGED.
Mitt Romney supported Civil Unions and the right for Gays to marry. Now he has CHANGED.
Mitt Romney said he was a life long hunter, but after he was caught in this lie he CHANGED his story.
Mitt Romney said he saw his father march with Martin Luther King, after being caught in this lie, he CHANGED his story.
Mitt Romney said Mike Huckabee is a liberal. Now he has CHANGED his story and is complaining that Huckabee is bleeding off his conservative vote.
Mitt Romney wanted to raise taxes in Massachusetts so he CHANGED their name to fees.
Mitt Romney said he was not a part of the Reagan-Bush thing, then he CHANGED his story to say he would rebuild the house that Reagan built.
Romney is the candidate of change alright, but his change involves his positions on many key issues. We cannot trust this man.

I am a Born again Christian...and I question Huckabee's reasons for continuing his campaign...I personally believe his in this race to gain favor "IF" McCain wins so he could be his running mate! I don't trust Huckabee...he's in this not for the country but for his own benefit! If he was so concerned about our country, he would humble himself and get out of the way! My vote goes to the one that is truly concern about our nation and to improve our country...Go Mitt!
A vote for Romney is a vote for Hillary or Obama. The American Cconservative Union gives McCain an 83 score - pretty darn conservative. McCain can beat the dems this fall, Romney can't. If I vote for Romney and keep McCain from winning I'm helping the dems win this fall. That could affect our future for years to come and I'm not doing it. Romney is taking votes away from Huckabee by pretending to be a social conservative as well. I hope he just quits gracefully after tomorrows drubbing.
Senator John McCain's lifetime rating of 82.3% from the American Conservative Union is often cited as proof that he is conservative.
Here is a closer look at that 82.3 rating.
First, a rating of 82.3 is not really that high. It puts Senator McCain in 39th place among senators serving in 2006, the latest year for which the ACU has its ratings posted online. For that most recent year in particular, McCain scored only 65, putting him in 47th place for that year. Ben Nelson (D-NE) and Chuck Hagel (R-NE), for example, scored 64 and 75, respectively, in 2006.
Generally, McCain has voted less conservatively in more recent years. His average for 1990-97 was 88, but was only 74 for 1998-2006. Below are his yearly ratings since 1990.
You've got to see the graph - McCain cannot be trusted to appoint conservative judges.
So where did McCain differ from the ACU? The big areas were taxes, campaign finance reform, the environment and, most recently, immigration. There was also a smattering of support for trial lawyers; federal intervention in health, education, safety or voting issues; internationalism; and some social issues. He was more consistently conservative on spending and defense issues. The list below summarizes all his votes since 1998 that differed from the ACU's position.

One thing that Romney has accomplished. He's prove that the old "Liar, liar..." standby is false.
If it were true, Mitt's pants would be an absolute inferno right now.
To "Born again Christian:"
I read the following in an e-mail from someone I deeply respect:
"I'm not so presumptuous to suggest that God has chosen Governor Huckabee as our next president or even as the Republican nominee. That's not something I know."
"But I am firmly convinced that God's hand has been at work in Governor Huckabee's campaign. I believe that Governor Huckabee is following the will of God by running for the presidency. Our Lord often picks the small, the weak, the underfunded and the "rejected stone" to make a point about His Divine providence and His greatness."
"As a Christian I am obliged to follow my conscience as the Lord directs, regardless of whether it "makes sense" to the World. That's part of living a life in faith."
It is highly offensive to suggest that Mike Huckabee isn't in "this for the country but for his own benefit!"
Mike Huckabee has a distinguished career of public service that is over twice as long as Mitt-come-lately.
Unlike "Slick Willard," Mike Huckabee has a strong, unshakeable commitment to ALL of the issues that alleged "Born again Christian[s]" ought to value in a candidate.
Unlike "Slick Willard," Mike Huckabee won't just "say anything" to get elected. Unlike "Mitt-the-Flip," Mike Huckabee isn't trying to "buy his way" into the White House.
Unlike "Bishop Romney," Mike Huckabee hasn't resorted to spending millions of dollars on negative attack ads.
Obviously, you may disagree with those who, based on sincerely-held convictions and prayerful contemplation have selected Mike Huckabee over Mitt-the-Mendacious, but don't you EVER question the sincerity of Mike Huckabee based on some alleged "Born again" superiority of perception.
To paraphrase, you don't have a word from the Lord on whether or not Mike should "humble himself and get out of the way" of a heathen like Bishop Mitt, so don't attack Mike's motives.
Dear born again and not a mind numbed robot,
Your couched anti-other-religion speak is one of the things that led me to drop my support of Huckabee. He doesn't represent ALL Americans and even shows intolerance to some of them.
Don't get me wrong, I think Huckabee is an outstanding individual and a great pro-lifer. Huckabee should stop whining though, it doesn't seem too Presidential. I think a vote for Huckabee at this point is a vote for John McCain.
I just worry that McCain will not stand by his Presidential Platform of appointing conservative judges. McCain's record is more and more liberal over the years.

The argument isn't over Romney's religion. It's over how he APPLIES it in making decisions and personal choices on values.
A $50 co-pay on abortions isn't conservative, regardless of what religion one professes.
A nominating an architect of "same sex marriage" to the judiciary isn't conservative, regardless of how many ads one buys to proclaim fealty to Ronald Reagan!
Mike Huckabee shouldn't have to hide his faith under a bushel to run for President! He has NEVER used his public office as a means of coercion for his church. Thus all of the complaining about Huckabee's religion is nothing more than groundless paranoia and anti-Christian bias.
It is anti-religion speak. People call religious people "mind numbed robots". That includes you.
