And "Granny T" has provided the following "Tax Freedom Day" comparison of Mitt’s and Huck's records:
"Mike is the proven consistent pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-gun rights candidate. He has the most political executive experience. Huckabee has been termed [unfairly by the Romney-ians and the GOP country-clubbers], 'Tax hike Mike.'

Yet, we're supposed to believe Mitt is more electable? . . . Huck gives us more for our buck."

Interesting. Romney claims to have left a $2 billion surplus. Have you checked that out?
"The new RGA ad does not emphasize Healey's independence. Instead, it describes how ``the Romney-Healey team" transformed the Massachusetts of 2002, with ``an economy in a tailspin, a $3 billion deficit, people out of work," to the Massachusetts of 2006, with a $1 billion budget surplus , more jobs, and, soon, healthcare for everyone.

There was NEVER A $3 Billion deficit.
"But the $3 billion deficit projected by Romney and state legislators in January 2003 at the start of his administration never rose that high because a surge in capital gains taxes more than halved the shortfall to $1.3 billion."
I am surprised that Romney's records were not put to scrutiny a little more, instead we all believed his polished claims. An article from Mitt's home state in January reported that during Mitt's term as governor there, economy growth was only 0.5%, compared with national 5.5% growth; manufacturing job slid 12%, double the national average. Basically, MA was among the bottom three states in economic wellbings in the nation.
"Tax-Hit" Mitt is such a smooth-talking poser. Get the word out. Economic conservatives need to stop being fooled.
